At Evolve Outreach, we know that timely help starts with accurate information, sustained helped requires real-time data, and community decisioning requires granular report outs. That’s why we’re rolling out a new, statewide Community Resources Management and Information System (CRMIS)—designed to work seamlessly with our VOIP-powered contact center and to better connect people to the services they need. The system will launch in beta in late summer 2025, with full functionality available by Winter 2025.
Just like the contact center, the CRMIS will be free for Delaware nonprofits focused on homelessness, hunger, and related human services—and its name will be selected through a community voting contest.
Why This Matters
When someone reaches out for help through Evolve’s contact center, that initial conversation becomes the foundation for smarter, more responsive care. From the very first call or chat, data flows directly into the CRMIS, helping case managers, volunteers, and partner organizations respond in real time. This is the beginning of our wraparound services
But this system is more than a database—it’s a complete ecosystem for human services. The CRMIS brings together over 250 features, to include:
Full Case Management: Track every client interaction, from intake through outcomes, across multiple service providers.
Referral & Scheduling Tools: Internally coordinate care and schedule appointments, or send referrals to outside partners—all within the system.
Client Access: Clients can securely complete forms, send documents, and message caseworkers or support staff online.
Operational Tools: Nonprofits using the CRMIS can also manage human resources and accounting through the same platform, saving monies on what they are currently using.
Live Reporting & Dashboards: Government agencies and funders using homelessness and hunger data to guide policy decisions can subscribe for a small annual fee to access real-time dashboards and detailed reports.
Resource Tracking and Forecasting
The CRMIS will also offer a real-time view of available resources across Delaware, helping service providers and community partners make more informed decisions. Features include:
Bed Availability Tracking: Shelters and transitional housing programs can update bed counts in real time, making it easier to connect people with a safe place to stay—faster.
Inventory of Essentials: Nonprofits can log current supplies of food, hygiene items, clothing, and other critical items, improving coordination and reducing duplication of effort.
Forecasting Tools: CRMIS will generate insights to help organizations, municipalities, and the state anticipate future needs and trends—whether it’s food demand during school breaks, seasonal shelter needs, or emergency weather response planning.
These forecasting capabilities allow nonprofits to proactively provision their services and help public agencies direct resources where they’re needed most. The result? A system that’s not just responsive, but strategic and prepared.
A Game-Changer for Small and Mid-Sized Nonprofits
Data and case management platforms can be expensive and overwhelming—especially for smaller teams. With CRMIS, every nonprofit in the state working in housing or food access can access a comprehensive, modern platform at zero cost. During the beta phase, organizations will have the opportunity to test-drive the system, provide feedback, and build capacity without sacrificing service delivery.
When the CRMIS fully launches in Winter 2025, it will be a powerful, community-shaped tool that helps organizations expand their impact without expanding their budgets.
How You Can Help and Get Involved
For Nonprofits: Whether you’re already working with Evolve’s contact center or exploring new tools to support your team, CRMIS is available to you—completely free of charge. We’ll provide training, support, and integration assistance so you can focus on what matters most: the people you serve.
For Volunteers and Tech-Savvy Supporters: As we roll out the beta version, we’re looking for people who can test, troubleshoot, and help refine the CRMIS before its full release. Whether you’re a systems thinker, a tech enthusiast, or someone with firsthand nonprofit experience, your input is welcome.
For Community Leaders and Funders: Supporting CRMIS means supporting data-informed, person-centered care across Delaware. Your investment helps ensure nonprofits have the tools they need to track progress, share information, and collaborate more effectively—leading to better outcomes for those facing homelessness or hunger.
